360º Excavator (Wheeled & Tracked Mini)
5day course for £500 + VAT per candidate
(Novice)
This course is undertaken at our site in Leicester.
(Maximum instructor ratio of 3:1:1)
 

The aim of the course is to provide training and knowledge in the safe and efficient operation of tracked excavators (360 degree) up to 5 tonnes
This course meets the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and other relevant statutory provisions.

Period 6, 7 & 8: Driving Controls Forward &
Reverse in confined areas & over uneven ground
Period 9: Refuelling Procedures & parking

Period 1: Pre-shift Checks Revision
Period 2: Use of Shovel & Attachments
Period 3: Dozing & Grabbing
Period 4 & 5: Stockpiling
Period 6, 7 & 8: Excavation
Period 9: Refuelling Procedures & parking

Day 3
Period 1: Pre-shift Checks Revision
Period 2: Stockpiling
Period 3, 4 & 5: Excavation
Period 6, 7 & 8: Excavation

Certification & Testing
At the end of this course the standard ITSSAR practical and theoretical test where possible will be conducted for the Dumper. This is the current recognised and recommended standards practical operators test. Operators are issued with an encapsulated wallet and full sized certificate. Companies are issued with an A4 sized certificate, the trainees original practical and theoretical test marking sheet, course record and written trainee report where appropriate, as proof of training.
